Description
In recognition of National Minority Health Month DOH- Hardee is working to host the 2nd Annual Multi-Cultural Day at Pioneer Park on April 20th from 1:30-4:30 PM. This event will provide attendees with culturally and linguistically appropriate information regarding health and wellness while providing a safe, family-friendly event for residents to enjoy. Last years success was made apparent by the communities participation (over 500.) The feedback that was given, both positive and constructive, will be used in this years event to improve and represent the wonderful diversity this community has to offer

Details:
The Event will be free to community members however there will be fees associated with participating as a vendor. The proceeds will go to the project that the Health Equity program is working on. The project is devoted to establishing a community garden in a community in hardee county. The event will feature live entertainment, food, local vendors, a car show, and many other attractions. Health Information will be distributed to the community as well as some health screenings. This is a family friendly event and will have many different parts. We hope to see everyone out! Links:
