Description
Come to the North Forebay on Father's Day to celebrate State Parks Week from 10am-1pm.  We will have Free Milkweed seeds to share, giveaway Milkweed seedlings to plant, have fun art activities like Quiver App and Sun Catcher Art, PLUS a live butterfly release!  In addition, we will have our popular StoryWalk happening at the same time! Bring the kids, enjoy a day at the Forebay, and celebrate California State Parks.  

Park for free by telling the kiosk staff you are here to celebrate State Parks week.

Details:
Stroll through the park reading A VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR with your family, stop at the various tables to complete an art activity, learn about the butterfly life cycle, pick up free milkweed seeds and plants, and stay for the releasing of the Painted Lady butterflies.  You don't want to miss this!
