Chamber Introduces Summer Photo Contest

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and the Carroll Chamber of Commerce couldn’t agree more. This summer, the Chamber is asking everyone to tell their #ChooseCarroll story in photographs!

“The Chamber has officially launched its #ChooseCarroll Summer Photo Contest and we’re looking for your photographs that best tell the story of Carroll,” explains Program Director Sarah Foley. The contest deadline is Friday, July 13, which Foley says is designed to give area photographers an opportunity to catch many of summer’s key events, from Memorial Day to the 4th of July and everything in between.

“What we’re looking for is those summer stories, whether it’s camping at Swan Lake State Park, taking advantage of the Sauk Rail Trail or spending an afternoon at the aquatic center. Tell us – in a photograph – what you enjoy best about our community and why you #ChooseCarroll,” adds Foley.

Photographs and images entered into the contest may be used by the Chamber of Commerce in future promotions and publications. One winning entry will receive a #ChooseCarroll gift basket containing $50 in Chamber bucks, #ChooseCarroll goodies and more.

Contest entries can be submitted on the Chamber’s website, www.carrolliowa.com/summerphotocontest. A complete list of contest guideline can also be found here. Questions can be directed to Sarah Foley, s.foley@carrolliowa.com or (712) 792-4383.
