AISIN Light Metals holds Groundbreaking Ceremony

AISIN Light Metals held a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Friday, July 24 to mark their plans for plant expansion.

AISIN Light Metals, LLC (ALM) is a subsidiary of AISIN Holdings of America Inc. and is a company in the AISIN Group, which is composed of 29 companies in North America.

ALM broke ground on their 129,000 square foot facility in October 2003. On Friday, July 24, ALM celebrated with a formal groundbreaking for their new Cast House. The expansion will increase ALM by 72,000 square feet. The expansion will add the aluminum billet casing process to better meet their customer needs and strengthen their competitiveness.

Current products manufactured at ALM are automotive body parts consisting of front and rear bumpers, reinforcements and extensions, and antilock brake system bodies for multiple automobile manufacturers. These parts are shipped to customers and are used during the final assembly process.

Like AISIN Seiki, ALM will pursue the same unwavering commitment to "Quality First" and the simple principle of "Respect for Human Resources."
