Description
Shelby County Extension & Outreach Summer Day Camp programs are designed to address youth needs of belonging, independence, generosity, and mastery. Programs feature hands-on individual and group learning experiences in a fun, relaxed setting. Grade levels are the grade the student completed Spring 2024. Camp 1, June 4. Fizz, Bubble, Goo. Grades 4 - 6, 9 - 3 pm. Location - Immanuel Lutheran Church 1700 19th Street, Harlan. An exciting day camp tailored for youth in grades 4-6, blending scientific exploration with fun-filled activities.

Camp 2, June 6. Art Exploration. Grades K - 3, 9 - 3 pm. Location - Shelby County Fairgrounds, Morgan Hall. 314 4th Street, Harlan. Explores all areas of art and creativity. 

Camp 3. Where the Grass is Greener. Grades 3 - 6, 9 - 3 pm. Location - Immanuel Lutheran Church 1700 19th Street, Harlan. Join us for hands-on activities and experiments to learn more about Perennial Groundcover and its benefits.

Camp 4. Creepy Crawly. Grades K - 3, 9 - 3 pm. Location - Shelby County Fairgrounds, Morgan Hall. 314 4th Street, Harlan. A creepy crawly adventure camp to learn about spiders, pollinators, and more.
