Polar Plunge
Description
Be Bold, Bear the Cold! The Town of Wickenburg’s Recreation Department is hosting a Polar Bear Plunge. Participants take a quick, exhilarating, and chilly plunge into the pool to raise funds for the pool and recreation programs.
Costumes are highly encouraged as there will be a costume contest.
Help us beat our goal of $8k! Last year we raised $6,835.08! This year we would like to use the money to start a scholarship program for the youth and to help support our swim team kids.
Multiple Ways to Participate:
Be a Plunger for $25 per bear; $10 per cub (17 and under).
Can't bear the cold? Purchase a Hibernator Pass $30; $15 per cub (17 and under)
Be an Arctic Sponsor! $100 gets you 2 entries to either plunge or hibernate, a banner with business name and logo displayed at pool, and shout outs on social media.
Check in starts at the Wickenburg Pool at 11:30 a.m. with plunges beginning at 12:00 p.m.
