Who do you trust to stand in the gap and protect your values?
For years, CAAP has been one of the few national, black-led organizations willing to take bold stands and tell uncomfortable truths in defense of faith, family, and freedom. For Deborah and I, this is more than a job - it’s a calling. That’s why we’re willing to make sacrifices, work long hours, and stretch our resources to keep our ministry going.
On Friday, November 12, 2021, we will be celebrating this determination to protect Biblical values with the Standing in the Gap Benefit Luncheon, held in Houston, Texas. Our keynote speaker will be someone who understands the value of standing in the gap - Dr. Alveda King, the prominent activist, performer, and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The inspiration for the luncheon can be found in the words of Ezekiel 22:30: “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.”
