Hospice of Southern Illinois Presents - Connections Camp
Join us for a great day of remembrance
A safe place to share your grief with other kids and teens who have been through similar loss. Crafts and activities to help you process and express your grief. We will end the day with a memorial celebration to commemorate your loved one in a special way. A simultaneous adult program to help parents/guardians understand their own grief and help with yours.

As you may know, Hospice of Southern Illinois provides physical, emotional and spiritual support to people who are terminally ill and grief support to their families. However, there are very few resources available in Southern Illinois specifically for children who are grieving. It is not uncommon for our patients at Hospice of Southern Illinois to be young parents who leave behind small children. Even our elderly patients sometimes leave behind grandchildren they were raising. In addition, we receive multiple calls every month from community members who have lost a loved one and are looking for help for their grieving children.
