GENERAL EVENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
On behalf of State Senator Dale Fowler, the Southern Illinois Chambers of Commerce, the Shop Southern Illinois program, and the Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois, we would like to invite you to take part in the Southern Illinois Made Expo. After the postponement of the July 2020 event, we are excited to announce the 2021 event will be on October 9^th & 10^th, 2021 from 10a.m. to 4p.m. both days at The Pavilion in Marion.
 
The event is open to the public and encourages the hardworking local businesses of Southern Illinois to display their impressive products and wonderful destinations. The 2019 event hosted over 3,000 attendees. Along with our date change to encourage holiday shopping, our promotion plan will include digital, television, and radio partners which will encourage greater attendance.

Proceeds from the 2021 Southern Illinois Made Expo will go to Operation Honor Guard.  Operation Honor Guard raises money for veterans services organizations (Ex: American Legions, VFW Posts, etc.) that provide military funerals for fallen veterans. A donation of $5 to Operation Honor Guard will be suggested for admission for all guests. These donations will be shared with veterans’ service organizations across Southern Illinois to ensure their honor guards are equipped to provide our fallen veterans with the honor and respect they deserve for their military service at their funerals.

About the Event - Exhibitors from all over the region are invited to display and sell their innovative products, unique creations, and tasty treats as well as showcasing fabulous Southern Illinois destinations.
 
Both Saturday and Sunday exhibition dates will offer a unique opportunity for exhibitors to sell directly to the public and wholesale/retail buyers. Potential customers can see, sample, and purchase products while also learning about the many destinations Southern Illinois has to offer. Vendors are encouraged to network with fellow booth exhibitors to boost their customer base and business network.

Booth prices start at $75 (plus processing fee). Please note - Expo management has the right to refuse ANY vendor if they do NOT meet Exhibitor Eligibility.
 
Exhibitor Eligibility – The main goal is to feature products produced in Southern Illinois or destinations available in Southern Illinois. Items not made in /located in Southern Illinois are not permitted.

Types of vendors the Southern Illinois Made Expo is particularly interested in displaying:

• Artisans & Craftspeople (i.e. Carpenters, Potters, Glass Artists, Painters, etc.)
• Food and Beverage Artisans (i.e. Distillers, Brewers, Cheese Makers, Sauce makers etc.)
• Farmers, Winemakers/Viticulturists, etc.
• Manufacturers of local products (must be made in Southern Illinois)
• Southern Illinois Tourism Destinations

Willingness and ability to sell/showcase products or destinations to retailers and the general public at your booth during both days of the event.
