Ferlanda Fox Nixon is a leadership and organizational development consultant with extensive experience in the areas of communications, diversity and inclusion, general business strategy, and administration. She has more than 11 years of experience as a public relations specialist in higher education and has served as an adjunct professor of ethics and leadership.

Ms. Nixon is the former franchisee, publisher, and editor of TAPinto Denville, a hyperlocal online news site that covers the happenings of the Township of Denville, New Jersey.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Nixon practiced corporate law for 18 years, five years at a law firm in New York City, and 13 years at a finance company in Livingston, New Jersey. Her past community work includes executive director of the Hope Chest Scholarship Foundation in Morristown, New Jersey, and executive director of the Community Development Corporation of Northern New Jersey, also in Morristown.
