Rod Black first founded Western Heating & Air back in 1995. Rod was known for his hard work and grit, as well as being generous and kind to his time and service. His reputation for good work and kindness spread throughout the area, allowing his business to grow quickly. People appreciated working with a home comfort company they could trust.

After running Western for 12 years, Rod and his wife, Carol, decided to turn their focus to their church. Devoted members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, they wanted to work on an out-of-state mission for the church. They began looking for the right owners to continue their company’s mission without them.
