Tommy J. Smith is running for Superior Court Judge. The Office of Superior Court Judge is a full time judgeship that covers five Counties of the Middle Judicial Circuit: (Washington, Jefferson, Candler, Emanuel, and Toombs). Superior Court is a court of general jurisdiction which includes felony criminal, family law, land title issues, and general civil jurisdiction. It is also a court of appeal for Magistrate and Municipal Courts and shares concurrent jurisdiction with Probate Court.
