KU Resources, Inc. was formed in 1997 to provide environmental management consulting services. The business focus of the firm is to bring the knowledge and experience of our Principals and staff to our clients with a significantly reduced overhead structure. As former clients themselves, our Principals had experienced the results of high overhead structures and low levels of personalized service inherent with larger consulting firms.

The firm located its headquarters at a former steel manufacturing facility and Brownfield development in Duquesne, Pennsylvania. This location has allowed KU Resources to participate in the significant Monongahela River Valley Brownfields initiatives and take those experiences to an expanded geographic area. The company has also established an office in Akron, Ohio.

KU Resources provides a full range of environmental management and consulting services to industrial-, commercial-, and community-based clients. The firm specializes in Brownfield redevelopment, environmental site assessment, regulatory permitting and compliance, environmental risk management strategies, remediation design and implementation, and litigation support.

The firms engineering and environmental consulting capabilities also include the areas of civil and geotechnical engineering, site development engineering, water resources engineering, mining and quarry services, solid waste management services, water quality monitoring, and air quality compliance and permitting. We also provide forensic engineering and litigation support services.
