There is no greater engineering challenge than to design that which does not exist. We do it everyday. And the learning opportunities exceed most people's expectations. You may choose to attend Nuclear Power School and learn first-hand how to operate a nuclear reactor, get an advanced degree at night, learn on the job, attend the on-site reactor engineering school, attend workshops, study on-line or in the site library. You may even choose to relocate to either of the other sites. With people working at three different sites in three distinct areas of the country with varying concentrations of expertise, there are boundless opportunities to grow professionally. If you successfully demonstrate your leadership skills and management potential, you may be asked to participate in the rotating field assignment program where you will spend a year or two at a shipyard overseeing reactor plant testing or refuelings.
