The Progress

The Progress has been the Moapa Valley’s community news voice since 1987 and now serves both Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley. It is the longest-running newspaper in Northeast Clark County. We pride ourselves on being an independently owned local news source. The Progress is owned by Nevada Central Media, LLC - a family-owned company with a mission to produce high-quality, locally sourced community news. Articles in The Progress are written and edited by residents. The Progress is committed to retaining a local small-town feel by keeping its news coverage focused on the community, and by making the newspaper highly accessible to its residents.

The Progress is an 11 1/4? x 22? five-column tabloid newspaper printed weekly every Wednesday. All of our weekly content is also available on our website at mvprogress.com The Progress distributes to the greater Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley areas including the communities of Mesquite, Bunkerville, Overton, Logandale, Moapa, Glendale, Warm Springs, Overton Beach, Echo Bay, and the Paiute Indian Reservation.
