The West Valley Arts Council exists to build audiences for all the arts, to drive arts policy forward and to champion arts education throughout the West Valley.  The Council presents more than 225 events annually throughout the state of Arizona but primarily in the thirteen cities that comprise the West Valley of Greater Phoenix.  From The Big Read  - a literary arts program that promotes reading, to our performing arts series, to the exhibits in our galleries and our many classes for kids and adults - the West Valley Arts Council is the only local arts council of its kind in the state.  Recently the Council has been focusing on providing services to the many professional artists and arts organizations throughout the West Valley in order to promote a vibrant and thriving cultural environment.  Check out www.westvalleyarts.org for more information and schedules of events throughout the Valley.
