Anthony Hough, LPL Registered Principal and Branch Manager, is in his 30th year in the financial services industry. He holds a BA in finance. Hough worked in the financial services and insurance industry in Council Bluffs and Omaha before returning to Harlan in 1992, to open Midstates Investment Center. In 2010, Midstates Bank sold the investment center business to Tony and his business partner, Joe Zaccone, and Hough & Zaccone Investment Management was formed. Hough has been actively involved in his community serving on a variety of community and nonprofit boards, including as a past school board member for Harlan Community Schools. Tony is a retired certified official for both the Iowa State High School state track meet and Drake Relays. He and his wife, Susan, have three children, Lindsey, Anthony, and Nicholas and are members of St. Michael’s Parish.

Joe Zaccone, LPL Registered Representative and LPL Investment Advisor Representative, is a graduate of Creighton University holding a BSBA in finance. He has experience in community banking and operated his own investment brokerage office in Ft. Dodge before returning to Harlan in 1999, to join Tony Hough at Midstates Investment Center. Zaccone is in his 20th year in the financial services industry and is active in his community and St. Michael’s Parish, volunteering and participating in a variety of organizations to promote our area. Joe currently serves on the board of Harlan Golf & Country Club.

Renae Lee, Administrative Assistant, is a Shelby native and joined Tony and Joe in  2008. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a BS in public relations and worked for Capital Resource Group, LLC, West Des Moines. In 2005, the insurance brokerage firm merged with a West Des Moines wealth management company, LWBJ, LLP, and she became director of administration, premier private wealth division. She holds her life, health, and accident insurance licenses; and in 2011, received an LPL Financial Specialist Degree thru their AdminU program. Lee is active in the Shelby community having served as past Treasurer of the Shelby Park Renovation Committee and currently teaches Sunday School and serves as Financial Secretary at United Lutheran Church. Renae and her husband, Jesse, have two children.
