Mesquite Lutheran Church
Our journey began with a humble dedication to witness the teachings of Christ, as recounted in Luke 24:13-35. Since our establishment in 1997, we have been steadfast in our commitment to serve the residents and visitors of the Mesquite area, following the example set forth in Mark 10:45.
At Mesquite Lutheran Church, we believe in the power of community and the importance of spiritual growth. Inspired by 1 Corinthians 1:9, we open our doors not only as a place of worship but also as a source of spiritual nourishment and development.
Our rich history is a testament to our dedication to serving the Lord and our community. From our inaugural public worship service in 1997 to our official charter as a non-profit corporation in 1998, and the subsequent milestones of baptisms and congregational affiliations, we have remained steadfast in our mission.
In 2002, we took a significant step forward with the purchase of 3.5 acres for the construction of our church building, marking a new chapter in our journey. Over the years, we have continued to grow and expand our ministry, hosting events such as the First Golf Tournament in 2002 and the establishment of the Mesquite Lutheran Childcare Center in 2010.
On November 16, 2003, we proudly dedicated our church building, a symbol of our unwavering faith and commitment to serving the Lord and our community. This dedication was further exemplified with the opening of the Mesquite Lutheran Childcare Center on January 10, 2010, providing a nurturing environment for the youngest members of our community.
As a congregational member of the Pacific Southwest District of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod since December 21, 1999, we are honored to be part of a larger community of believers dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Christ.
At Mesquite Lutheran Church, we invite you to join us on our journey of faith, service, and fellowship. We look forward to welcoming you into our community and sharing in the blessings of God's grace together.
