L & T Towing was started in 1987 by Windford D. Lamb "Uncle Wimp" and his nephew Michael R. Thornton with one tow truck.  It branched off of Willows Auto Wrecking, which began in 1975, by family operating a used parts service.

    In 1990, we received the AAA Auto Club contract, building our business into what it is today.

    In 1995, Uncle Wimp left the business, and Mike Thornton operated the business full-time until January 2009.That was when Mike's son, Zack, took over the day-to-day operations. Later in March of 2013, Zack purchased the business.

     L & T Towing is in its second generation of the family going stronger than ever!

    We provide 24-hour emergency roadside service 7 days a week!

    We do services for various insurance companies as well as the California Highway Patrol.
