The Cresco Times Plain Dealer is a subscription weekly newspaper covering Cresco and all of Howard County. It is the official Howard County newspaper and Cresco's ONLY legal newspaper. The paper is issued weekly every Wednesday and is delivered by the United States Postal Service.
The Cresco TPD also has the TPD Extra, which is a Total Market Coverage Shopper. The Extra goes to every home in Howard County (and some outlying areas such as Harmony) that does not already get the Cresco TPD newspaper, allowing advertisers to get their message to over 15,000 customers.
The newspaper is also affiliated with the Riceville Recorder, the Lime Springs Herald, the LeRoy/Southland Independent and the Meadow (Grand Meadow) Area News, allowing advertisers additional coverage at a huge discount. The Cresco TPD has been an important part of Howard County since 1856, making it one of the oldest businesses in the area. To subscribe or place an ad, please call 563-547-3601.
