Crucified on the hill named Mount Calvary, Jesus Christ demonstrated His care for each person in His life, death and resurrection. Brought by God's love to another Mt. Calvary, we respond to His caring grace by demonstrating to one another and to our community that Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Cares. We communicate this through the acronym CARES: Christ, Adoration, Relationships, Education, Service.
We are Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, a people called by the grace of God to faith in Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit through the Gospel. That Word of God that gives us new life to Him is at the center of our gathering, our worshipping, and our serving. The Word that gathers us also sends us out into the world of people around us to proclaim Jesus Christ, Redeemer, and Lord. In order to be more completely involved in fulfilling our Lords commission to Go and make disciples Mt. Calvary is an active member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
