Sugar Loafin' is a family owned and operated campground with continuous ownership since 1967.  We are a full service campground located in the middle of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.  Sugar Loafin' can handle everything from backpacking tents to 45 foot class A motorhomes.  We have wooded tent sites, mixed trees and grass water and electric sites, 30 amp full hookup sites pull thrus and back-ins, 50 amp full hookup sites and slideouts  are ok.  All our sites have fire rings and picnic tables.  We have 2 very clean heated shower/restroom facilities available to our guests 24/7.  We have a coin operated laundry facility, recreation room, playground, dump station, DSL speed data ports, general store and a nightly ice cream social.  Our area offers a wide range of recreational opportunities with something for everyone.  If you like fishing there are 6 lakes and several stream access points all paved access all within a 2 to 15 minute drive from the park.  We have miles of hiking, mountain biking and 4 wheeling roads and trails as well as the 2 tallest peaks in Colorado right out our back door.  Leadville and Lake County are ATV friendly so you can access riding areas on you ATV, get fuel or grab a meal directly from your camp site.

Sugar Loafn' also has deluxe cabins that will sleep up to 6 people.  They are fully furnished with an adjustable firmness queen size air bed in the main bedroom, 2 bunk beds in a second bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.  They have full kitchens, full bath and we furnish all linen, towels, eating utensils and cooking utensils.  You also have access to all of Sugar Loafn's amenities.  We have scenery piled to the sky, we would love to have you as our guests.
