Agua Fria Foundation

The Agua Fria Foundation, comprised of the local community and business leaders, teachers, students, parents, and the staff was established in 1981. Its goal has always been to support the District’s mission as it strives for excellence in attitude, academics, and achievement. Serving as a link between the community and the schools, the Foundation has awarded over $350,000 since its inception.

Offering a unique level of local support to the Agua Fria Union High School District, the Foundation is a cooperative effort between the schools and the community to initiate and promote innovative programs which have the potential to become an integral part of the curriculum. The Foundation seeks to support projects which lack sufficient District funding and which, without Foundation monies, could not be implemented. These programs and projects must demonstrate the potential to positively impact student learning and must be consistent with District goals.

Over the years, awards from the Foundation to such programs have provided a continuous pipeline of teaching materials and learning opportunities, enabling our students and our staff to excel.
