Founded in 1990, Mountain Resource Center (MRC) provides multiple related services for low-income residents of Western Jefferson and Eastern Park counties. Our key services include:
- Food Assistance: Ensuring access to nutritious food through our Food Share Market, Mobile Food Share, and Community Food Share programs.
- Emergency Services: Offering housing and utility assistance to those in crisis.
- Early Childhood and Family Education: Supporting early childhood development and family education and fulfilling the promise of universal pre-K through a quality, evidence-based half-day preschool program.
- Veteran Support: Offering specialized services for veterans, including case management and resource access.
- Case Management: Our dedicated case management staff provides support and resources to help individuals and families move toward independence.
- Workforce and Job Training: Helping individuals improve job skills and find employment through various training programs.
- Wraparound Services: Connecting community members with classes and groups to support healthy eating, wellness practices, and mental health.
