Stand against Veteran suicide.
The Fire Watch is Florida’s fight to end Veteran suicide. We are building a life-saving network of community members and organizations trained to identify the warning signs of Veterans in crisis and to direct those Veterans to the help they need.
As the North Central Florida Program Manager it is my goal to build a relationship with the community built on trust and compassion for those who volunteered to risk it all for our Freedom. Often it is not professionals who are the first to see a change or notice indicators the veteran is struggling, but rather their friends, family, spiritual (Church family), coworkers, even barbers/hairdressers and bartenders who are the first to notice that something is off. Our goal is to provide the FREE training to the Community that surrounds and interacts with the veteran on a daily basis. Giving them basic training in recognizing the signs of crisis and helping them connect with resources.
