Founded in 1911 through the vision of H.W. Endner and a dedicated group of community leaders, Gunnison Savings & Loan was established to serve as a trusted savings, loan, and building institution for the people of Gunnison. From its earliest days, the organization was built on a simple but powerful idea: local investment supporting local families and businesses. That mission guided the institution through the Great Depression, past the milestone of $1,000,000 in assets in 1960, and continues today with over $101,000,000 in total assets as of December 2024.

For more than 115 years, Gunnison Savings & Loan has proudly helped residents throughout Gunnison, Crested Butte, Lake City, and surrounding communities achieve homeownership and grow their businesses.
