VISION As a vibrant community-based arts organization, the Gunnison Arts Center contributes to the wholeness of our community through an educated, adventurous, and integrated approach to the arts that cultivates participation by community members and visitors as well as engages other organizations in meaningful partnerships and alliances, creating opportunities for people to engage in the arts and with each other.

The Gunnison Arts Center is a hub for creativity and community in the heart of the Gunnison Valley. We offer dynamic experiences across our three rotating galleries, Clay Studio, Culinary Studio (Dot’s Kitchen), Dance & Fitness studio, and the Blue Box Theater, inviting visitors to explore, create, and express themselves. Through our Visual Arts courses, boutique showcasing local artists, live performances, and educational programs, we inspire creativity, support local talent, and cultivate a vibrant, connected community where the arts are an essential part of everyday life.
