Head Start of Northeastern Nevada is a non-profit program. The overall goal of the Head Start program is to bring about a greater degree of social competence in the families it serves. Head Start of Northeastern Nevada provides comprehensive, interdisciplinary services to income eligible children from birth through five years of age and their families in Early Head Start and Head Start Preschool programs. The broad range of services provided include education, health and mental health services, physical development, nutrition services, parent needs and social services. This program realizes the importance of involvement by parents and other family members as an integral part of the success of the program.
