The SoLa Foundation, established in 2017 as the 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliate of SoLa Impact, is committed to ending intergenerational poverty in South Los Angeles. Guided by the belief that “If you CAN see it, you CAN be it,” we empower residents of underserved Black and Latinx communities through access to education, technology, and economic opportunity. Our programs focus on four key pillars of change: career development and entrepreneurship, educational and technological innovation, financial literacy and economic mobility, and college readiness with scholarship support.
Through strategic partnerships, such as our collaboration with Riot Games in 2021, The SoLa Foundation has expanded its impact with initiatives like the SoLa Technology and Entrepreneurship Center. This community hub provides hands-on educational programming in technology and entrepreneurship, equipping South LA residents with the skills and resources needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving economy.
