Camp Enchantment

Camp Enchantment, located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is a week-long camp specifically designed for children aged 7 to 17 who are undergoing treatment for cancer or are in survivorship from cancer. Our dedicated volunteer staff consists of doctors, nurses, counselors, artists, and activity coordinators who work tirelessly to provide a supportive and enriching experience for our campers.

Each year, Camp Enchantment serves approximately 200 children and staff members. The program aims to address the emotional, psychological, social, and physical needs of our campers as they navigate the challenges of childhood cancer. Through generous donations, we are able to fund our programs which include providing food and organizing activities and events that bring joy and respite to our campers.

The importance of Camp Enchantment cannot be overstated. For children with cancer or those in survivorship, the camp offers a much-needed break from the rigors of treatment and provides an opportunity for them to simply be kids again. It also serves as a supportive community where both children and their families can connect with others who understand their experiences.

The impact of the camp extends beyond just providing fun activities; it contributes to improving the overall well-being of the campers by offering a sense of normalcy and helping them build confidence and resilience. By creating an environment where children can feel supported and understood while engaging in various activities tailored to their needs, Camp Enchantment plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of those affected by childhood cancer.

We are immensely grateful for our volunteers whose dedication makes all this possible. Their commitment ensures that each camper receives personalized care and attention throughout their time at Camp Enchantment. Additionally, we extend our gratitude to our donors whose contributions enable us to continue providing this invaluable experience for children facing the challenges of childhood cancer.
