Albuquerque Museum Foundation
Established in 1968, the Albuquerque Museum Foundation is an independent, nonprofit corporation dedicated to raising funds for the Albuquerque Museum. The Foundation champions the Museum's exceptional exhibitions, educational programs, and acquisitions, ensuring the preservation and promotion of Albuquerque's rich cultural heritage.
Guided by core values of integrity, diversity and inclusion, stewardship, communication, and respect, the Foundation collaborates closely with the Museum and the City of Albuquerque. This partnership supports a variety of programs and amenities, including membership initiatives, the Museum Store, the Slate at the Museum café, and the annual ArtsThrive art exhibition and benefit. Through these efforts, the Foundation plays a pivotal role in enriching the cultural landscape of Albuquerque and fostering a deeper appreciation for art and history within the community.
