Cook's, a family-owned business located in DeLand, Florida, has been a staple in the community for many years. The company was founded by the late Bob Cook and is now run by his son, Michael Cook. In 1984, Michael married Star Hubbard, daughter of Betty Hubbard and the late Johnny Hubbard. Together, they have two children - Michael Jr., who works as the Assistant Manager alongside his father, and Channing, who resides in Stuart, Florida with her husband Andrew.

The Cook family has been deeply involved in their local community for generations and are long-time members of Stetson Baptist Church. Their latest venture, Cook's Buffet, Cafe and Bakery, has been a true family affair from start to finish. Each member of the family played a crucial role in bringing this establishment to life - from design and setup to color choices.

Star brings her expertise from working at Florida Hospital-DeLand since 1985 to oversee office staff and handle all computer needs including programming and publications such as their website. Michael Jr. serves as the manager of day-to-day operations while also managing staff members. Meanwhile, Michael Sr. takes on the role of General Manager responsible for overseeing the complete operation.

At Cook's Buffet, Cafe, and Bakery, they take pride in what they do and enjoy meeting and visiting with their patrons. They encourage guests to ask for one of them or even take a tour of the kitchen during their visit.
