Black Warrior Council, BSA
The Black Warrior Council, Boy Scouts of America, has proudly served the youth and families of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and surrounding communities since its inception. Committed to fostering leadership, character development, and community service, our council offers comprehensive Scouting programs that inspire young people to reach their full potential. From Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA and beyond, we provide age-appropriate opportunities for adventure, education, and personal growth in a safe and inclusive environment. Through outdoor activities, merit-based learning, and service projects, we empower Scouts to develop essential life skills while contributing positively to their communities.
Rooted in the Scout Oath and Law values, the Black Warrior Council is dedicated to preparing youth for a lifetime of success. Our mission is to shape future leaders who embody integrity, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility. By partnering with local organizations, families, and volunteers, we ensure that the Scouting experience remains accessible, enriching, and impactful. Whether exploring the outdoors, learning new skills, or serving others, our Scouts forge lifelong friendships and create memories that leave a lasting legacy in their lives and the communities they touch.
