DOC Energy Services, headquartered in Baird, Texas, has been a leading provider of cementing and acidizing services since its formation in 1980 by Dale Nix. Recognizing the need for these essential services for local operators in Northwest LA and East Texas, DOC Energy Services quickly established itself as a trusted partner in the industry.

In response to the growing demand driven by the rise of the Haynesville Shale in 2009, DOC Energy Services seized the opportunity to expand into larger and more complex cementing services. This expansion was made possible with the addition of John Carmichael and Phillip Smith to the team, who focused on vertical production work with local independents in the Ark-La-Tex region. The company also invested in double pump trucks and a cementing lab to provide the necessary equipment for deeper and hotter wells.

Continuing its commitment to growth and innovation, DOC Energy Services expanded its service offerings in 2020 to include Pumpdown and Miscellaneous pumping services. By 2022, the company had grown to operate 21 pumps servicing the Ark-La-Tex region.

In 2021, DOC Energy Services further expanded its operations by purchasing equipment and establishing a presence in Baird, TX to provide Vertical Stimulation work, Acidizing, and Cementing services. Additionally, Casing and Tubing Services were initiated as the first non-pumping service line based in Shreveport, LA. These services offer state-of-the-art casing and tubing torque data gathering along with industry-leading casing running tools.

The company's growth continued into 2022 with additional cementing and acidizing services being offered in Columbia, MS. Furthermore, a surface rentals division was established in Shreveport as part of an ongoing effort to diversify their product line.

In 2023, DOC Energy Services consolidated their Ark-La-Tex service lines to Shreveport, LA to better serve their client base in that region. To further expand their offerings across the US market, service and production downhole tools were added later that year. Additionally, casing unloading, cleaning and strapping services were introduced in December 2023.
