Zonta Club of Corvallis

Zonta Club of Corvallis is a part of Zonta International, a global organization dedicated to advancing the status of women worldwide. Located in Corvallis, Oregon, our club is committed to giving women the collective strength to realize their potential and achieve their goals.

Since its founding in 1945, Zonta has been an active supporter of the United Nations and currently holds Non-Governmental Organization status at UN sites in Geneva, New York, Paris, and Vienna. With over 36,000 members in more than 1,200 clubs across 67 countries, Zonta offers opportunities for service, professional growth, networking, and fellowship.

The word "Zonta" itself is derived from a Native American (Lakota-Sioux) term meaning honest and trustworthy. This reflects our commitment to integrity and reliability as we work towards empowering women globally.

Our members come from diverse professional backgrounds including accountants, consultants, counselors, doctors, educators, farmers, scientists, and more. We are deeply involved in our community and contribute our time and energy to help others. Through our shared dedication to service and friendship with each other as we engage in projects supporting women's advancement.
