Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leavenworth, Kansas is dedicated to inspiring the potential of youth through one-to-one mentorship. We firmly believe that all young people have inherent potential and deserve the opportunity to achieve success in life. By pairing youth facing adversity with a caring adult mentor in a one-to-one mentoring relationship, our organization aims to inspire greater self-confidence, improved academic performance, and dreams for the future that will positively impact their lives forever.

Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. We envision a future where all Kansas youth are able to earn a living wage by age 25.

At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we serve Kansas youth between the ages of 5 and 25 who are encountering various challenges related to self-confidence, friendships, school, or family situations. Recognizing that entering adulthood is a critical time in our Little's lives, we offer the opportunity for them to remain matched with their mentors through age 25. This provides guidance and support as they navigate life as young adults, with the ultimate goal of achieving financial independence by age 25.

Through our programs and initiatives, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in our community. Our dedicated mentors (Bigs) work tirelessly to provide support and encouragement to their mentees (Littles), helping them build confidence, develop important life skills, and pursue their aspirations.
