Northwest Minnesota Multi-County Housing & Redevelopment Authority
The Northwest Minnesota Multi-County Housing & Redevelopment Authority (NWMNHRA) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents across nine counties in northwest Minnesota. Through a range of affordable housing and community development programs, NWMNHRA works to foster strong, vibrant communities and support individual stability and growth. Our service area includes Hubbard, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau counties.
NWMNHRA actively utilizes Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) funds to implement various rental and homeowner grant programs, ensuring that affordable housing is accessible to those in need. A significant initiative is the Community Revitalization Fund, which partners with private and public investors to assist prospective homeowners with down payments, thereby facilitating homeownership for many residents in our region.
In addition to housing programs, NWMNHRA is committed to the economic and community development needs of the cities and counties it serves. By collaborating with local governments and stakeholders, we aim to promote sustainable growth and development, enhancing the overall well-being of northwest Minnesota.
