Rotary Club Of Foster City
The Rotary Club of Foster City boasts a rich history steeped in community service and culinary excellence. Since the early 1980s, our club has been at the forefront of fostering a strong sense of community through events like the Foster City Birthday celebration, which evolved into the iconic Foster City Art and Wine Festival. Anchored by passionate members like Ollie Pattum, Rick Wykoff, and Bill Chow, our cooking crew, known affectionately as "Ollieque," has become synonymous with quality, camaraderie, and philanthropy. From humble beginnings of grilling burgers and hot dogs to catering for events with hundreds of attendees, our commitment to service has remained steadfast, even in the face of challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite temporary setbacks, our club remains resolute in our mission to serve and uplift our community. As we eagerly anticipate the return of gatherings and events, we carry with us the legacy of generations of dedicated members who have tirelessly worked to make a difference. Through our motto, "THE CLUB THAT COOKS," we not only celebrate our culinary prowess but also our unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in Foster City and beyond. As we look to the future, we remain committed to serving with passion, integrity, and a shared belief in the power of community to create lasting change.
