St. Isidore Catholic School
Welcome to St. Isidore Catholic School, a beacon of educational excellence rooted in the rich history and enduring values of the Catholic faith. Established in 1955 by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, our school was envisioned as an educational ministry to serve the community of St. Isidore Parish. The Sisters, guided by their charism to make known God's goodness, dedicated themselves to providing quality education and fostering a deep sense of compassion for the marginalized.
Despite facing challenges like the significant flood in Sutter County shortly after its construction, St. Isidore Catholic School has persevered. The original mission church, Bishop Quinn Hall, symbolizing our resilience, floated away but was brought back to its rightful place after the waters receded. Today, we stand as a testament to our commitment to weathering storms and continuing to provide a nurturing environment for academic and spiritual growth.
While the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur may no longer be at the helm since 1980, their legacy lives on in the foundation of our school. With a current focus on proclaiming the goodness of God, we have evolved to serve students from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Our commitment to academic excellence, community service, and holistic development, in partnership with parents, defines our mission. St. Isidore Catholic School remains a pillar of strength, rooted in Catholic identity, community bonds, financial stability, and a profound connection with our parish. Join us on this journey of faith, knowledge, and growth at 200 Clark Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991.
