Central Illinois Memorial Kidney Fund
The Central Illinois Memorial Kidney Fund (CIMKF) is a beacon of hope for chronic kidney disease patients in Central Illinois. Established in 1976 by Dr. Robert Pflederer, our mission is to provide a lifeline to those battling this debilitating condition. We offer support to individuals who face the financial strain of transportation, groceries, and medication costs, and step in to provide emergency living expenses when no other help is available. Our annual initiatives, such as the CIMKF Kidney 5K and Cruise-In, and the Golf Outing, serve as key avenues for raising awareness and vital funds to further our cause.
As we anticipate the return of the CIMKF Kidney 5K and Cruise-In in 2024 and prepare for the 33rd annual Golf Outing on September 19, 2023, we invite our community to participate, donate, and engage with us. Your support is the cornerstone of our efforts to make a lasting impact on the lives of chronic kidney disease patients in Central Illinois. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support and look forward to continuing our mission of providing assistance, hope, and a brighter future for those we serve.
