Riding For Our Veterans

Riding For Our Veterans, established in 2015 by Larry and Becky Oster, is a non-profit organization deeply rooted in personal loss and a commitment to supporting those who have served in the military. Originating from the "Ride For My Brother" benefit in 2014, initiated to honor Larry's late brother, a 21-year veteran who battled a rare form of cancer, the organization gained its 501(c)(3) status the following year. Since then, Riding For Our Veterans has evolved, hosting Pro Bull Rides and dedicating itself to organizing fundraising events that directly benefit local veterans and veteran organizations. The commitment is unwavering – every dollar donated, excluding necessary expenses, goes towards aiding veterans, whether supporting organizations like Generations of Heroes Ranch or assisting local veterans and service members facing challenges.

Looking ahead, Riding For Our Veterans is committed to a future of continued support for veterans and their families. The organization plans to collaborate with local agencies, explore scholarship programs for the children of veterans, and expand its outreach. With a core principle of providing a "hand up, not a handout," Riding For Our Veterans stands as a beacon of community support, ensuring that the spirit of service and sacrifice embodied by veterans is met with gratitude and tangible assistance.
