Edward Jones
I began my career in the US Army, working in human resources and helping fellow soldiers establish retirement accounts and understand retirement savings. While transitioning from the military, I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor. To better serve my clients, I earned the AAMS, CRPC and CRPS professional designations.
I begin the advising process with a conversation. I actively listen to understand my clients, their stories and what is most important to them. Then, using an established process, I build personalized financial strategies that include educational components aimed at empowering and assuring my clients. Once the strategies are in place, I maintain regular contact with my clients to help keep them on track. To ensure comprehensive attention, I regularly work with my clients’ certified public accountants and attorneys, always respecting confidentiality.
I serve serious investors with wide-ranging goals. I help retirees and those approaching retirement with strategies to help them live with ease and comfort. Many of my clients are families with whom I establish strategies for multi-generational wealth. Growing up in a middle-income household of self-starters, I especially enjoy supporting and elevating middle-income families and self-employed individuals.
Outside of my role with Edward Jones, I am active in my community. I am a member of my oldest son’s parent-teacher organization and organize various community outreach events with my son’s schoolmates. I am a YMCA Basketball Coach at the Southeast Armed Services Colorado Springs YMCA. My branch and I also participate in numerous charitable events throughout the year. I spend my free time with my family, hiking, biking, traveling and cooking. After decades of relocation, I am delighted to call Colorado home.
If you want help retiring with confidence or are interested in a second opinion, give my office a call. I will be happy to help get you on track.
