Monroe County National Wild Turkey Federation
Welcome to the Monroe County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). As a dedicated local contingent of this esteemed conservation organization, our primary mission revolves around fostering a deep appreciation for wildlife and natural habitats, with a particular emphasis on the wild turkey species. Committed to the preservation of our natural heritage, our non-profit endeavors are driven by a desire to ensure the longevity of these magnificent creatures and the ecosystems they inhabit.
At the heart of our local outreach lies our steadfast commitment to education and community engagement. Every year, we proudly extend a $750 scholarship to an outstanding student within the Monroe County high school community, recognizing and nurturing the future stewards of our environment. Beyond this academic pursuit, our chapter eagerly anticipates and hosts an annual banquet, a significant event that convenes like-minded individuals and conservation enthusiasts. We extend a warm invitation to all who share our passion for preserving wildlife and habitat to join us in our unwavering pursuit of a harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
