Founded in January 2005 through the merger of Stout Roofing and Roof Tec, Stout Roofing Inc. emerged from the collaboration of two leading roofing companies in St. George and Cedar City, Utah. Our mission was to leverage the strengths of both legacy companies to serve a broader, more diverse customer base with superior roofing solutions.

Stout Roofing Inc. brings together a wide range of specialized roofing capabilities under one roof. Originally, Stout Roofing was known for its expertise in concrete tile applications, torch-down applied modified bitumen on flat roofs, and various types of re-roofing projects. Roof Tec brought its specialization in metal roofing, asphalt shingles, and single-ply membrane systems (PVC, TPO, & EPDM) to the partnership.

This union has positioned us as Southern Utah’s only full-service roofing provider, capable of managing complex and varied projects that may include concrete tiles, copper bay windows, steel parapet caps, and single-ply membranes. Our streamlined approach means clients deal with a single contractor, reducing confusion and simplifying project management.

Our leadership team is as diverse as our services, consisting of six former roofing company owners and professionals with extensive experience in material distribution and production management. This depth of expertise ensures that every project benefits from informed oversight and seasoned guidance.

Stout Roofing is fully equipped to handle any project with an extensive inventory of company-owned forklifts, trucks, dump trucks, trailers, and lift trucks. Additionally, our full-service metal shop is outfitted with a hydraulic shear and a computerized brake, allowing us to create custom sheet metal details tailored to the specific needs of each project.
