Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel was formerly Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home which was established in 1860 and is Kendallville's oldest continuing business.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel was formerly Hutchins Funeral Home which was purchased by John Hutchins in 1974 from Roger and Margaret Williams.

The two funeral homes were purchased by Pat & Kathy Young in March 2006.

Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson-Ashley Chapel was formerly Johnson Funeral Home and was purchased by Pat and Kathy Young in August 2017 from Dale Johnson.

Pat and Kathy, lifetime area residents, believe that families in grief should be ministered to with loving care. We are proud to carry on the tradition of service these three funeral homes have provided to their communities.
