Helping children become children again
MISSION STATEMENT. The Bridge Children's Advocacy Center's donors provide a child's path to healing and justice.
The Bridge offers a child-focused, highly effective, one-step approach to child abuse investigations. Our main objective is to reduce the long-lasting, negative effects of trauma experienced by children who have made an outcry or witnessed violence. Child abuse prevention and education are offered free of charge to professionals working closely with children. We also offer age-appropriate training for children to learn about body safety and strategies for staying safe.
The Bridge offers services to children and families, free of charge, throughout all 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. 43% of children receiving services in 2021 live outside Potter / Randall counties. The Bridge donors provide services to Deaf Smith county at their satellite office in Hereford.
Referrals to The Bridge are made by law enforcement and/or child protective services. Contact us to set up training or education: www.bridgecac.org
