Mark Simonton, founder of Simonton Pool Consultants, caught the pool “bug” fairly early in his life. Having admired his father's pool building and construction techniques and abilities from an early age, Mark began designing pools when he was very young.

He has since become a renowned pool visionary in the Greater Houston area, receiving numerous awards for his innovative and creative pool designs while working with other Houston pool builders. It didn't take long for Mark to realize that he should fully take the reins of his talent and open up his own pool and backyard living construction company.

Mark knew that there were several award-winning pool consultants and designers like him in the Houston area, but he knew from personal experience that there was a lack of true customer service and attention to detail out there – both of which he excelled at.
