Sealy Lions Club
Home

The Sealy Lions Club is the local branch of Lions International. Lions Club was founded in Chicago in 1917 by Melvin Jones as a way for local businessmen to meet and exchange information. In 1925, Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become the "Knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness." Since these early days Lions International has become the worlds largest service organization boasting over 1.3 million members.

Today your Sealy lions Club is still very much dedicated to preserving sight. We hold free vision screenings and collect old eyeglasses. However, we are also here to help those who may need assistance with something other than vision.
