Congressman John R. Curtis is a dedicated representative, proudly advocating for Utah’s 3rd Congressional District since his election on November 13, 2017. With a diverse portfolio of initiatives, John has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the interests of his constituents. His focus encompasses crucial areas such as effective public land management, combating human trafficking, alleviating regulatory burdens on small businesses, and shaping comprehensive energy policies.

A prominent figure on Capitol Hill, John currently assumes pivotal roles on the Energy and Commerce Committee, where he serves as Vice-chair of the Energy subcommittee and as a member of the Communications and Technology subcommittee. He also brings his expertise to the Natural Resource Committee, contributing as a member of the Public Lands and Energy Sub Committees.

Notably, John is the founder of the Conservative Climate Caucus, a testament to his global recognition for pioneering American energy solutions. Prior to his congressional tenure, John served as the esteemed Mayor of Provo City for an impressive eight years, enjoying an extraordinary 94% approval rating. With 41 years of unwavering partnership, John and his wife Sue have built a beautiful family with six children and 16 cherished grandchildren.
