EXPERIENCE: Wendy Hausman has been an has been an active member in the O'Fallon chamber for over three years. As a professional business woman, Wendy has used her connections within the community to make a difference. The relationships she has developed within the chamber will continue as she plans to bridges the gap between state and local government.
As a chair of the Ambassador program, Wendy plays a large roll in welcoming new businesses and members to the community.
As the chair of the Public Policy Committees, Wendy wants to know the people and the needs of local businesses. This committee concentrates on business issues, economic development, education/workforce, transportation and infrastructure pertaining to O'Fallon and the surrounding communities.
Wendy is currently addressing the workforce shortage within the trades industry. She helped to connect local school districts and business partners to create more opportunities for high school students to be more informed about future careers in the trades. This has been greatly received by our community.
Wendy plans to continue her participation within the chamber to maintain her relationships in the community.
